The University of Bremen also has a rugby team. The university team is an independent team and, as opposed to Union60, only plays 7s rugby. This team is for all students of all the universities in Bremen. As a team, we also take part in the operation of the Bremen 7s League. The highlight of the year is always the German University Championships (DHM) in 7s rugby.

There are two different types of courses, the “Spielekurs” which is for beginners and the “Wettkampfkurs” which is for those, who have at least one semester of rugby experience or have playes it yet. The second course takes part at Union60 with the XVs squad.
The Spielekurs is Friday from 5.30 pm till 7pm at the University
The Wettkampfkurs is Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm at Union60
